Aladdin | Movie Talk

Had the opportunity to go see the newest addition to Disney movie remakes of this year, Aladdin. Outstanding experience, very entertaining and fun. As a child of the 90’s, I experience so much nostalgia and even got to witness kids and grandparents dancing in the theater room. It is clear that the production skipped some details, but when the movie was as euphoric as it was, there is not much critique. In summary, this Aladdin action/musical was made impeccable and hardly left priority details behind. Yago was annoying as always, Abu was the little rascal we remember him for. Aladdin was charming and funny in a shy way...

Mortal Kombat Movie

Did you know that the creators of The Conjuring and Aquaman are in the making of another piece of art to the box? I mean, who remembers the old movie of Mortal Combat? I know right? Now is time for a new creation coming straight up for the remaking era. Seems like we are taking a big profit out of repeating history with renewed and better technology, for the liking of our pupils. Production is ready to start filming in September 16 in Australia, so buckle up, cause this retro action has been owned by new special effects specialists, promising to give us not just an awesome story and action, but effects! I wonder if they might look anything like their video games, where fatalities are something to cringe and lose appetite.

Hold On… we know him from Get Out, Us, The Twilight Zone; Yes! Is Jordan Peele.  How do you turn down Jordan Peele? Well, you can’t. Who wants to be responsible for that decision? So in the absence of a good reason to say no, but prevented by their Big IP box from saying yes, Disney is slow walking the decision. It’s hoping, it seems, that they’ll run out the clock, he’ll sign other deals elsewhere, and the project will just fade away...
